Phishing attacks are becoming more sophisticated, with attackers using social engineering techniques to manipulate victims. The use of HTTPS is a common tactic, as it creates a false sense of security. Despite this, the healthcare industry remains the most targeted, with a significant number of attacks aimed at stealing sensitive patient information.

Mobile devices are increasingly becoming the primary tools for employees to perform their work tasks. According to a recent survey, a significant 71% of employees use their smartphones for work-related activities. This trend underscores the importance of mobile security in the modern workplace. With the rise in mobile device usage, enterprises face a growing challenge in securing these devices. Mobile endpoints, such as smartphones and tablets, are often more vulnerable to security threats due to their portability and the variety of applications they run.

The report by AppsFlyer and AppsFlyer Security reveals that sideloaded apps are a significant threat to enterprises, particularly in the financial sector. The study, which analyzed data from over 100 million apps, found that 68% of threats are associated with sideloaded apps.

The rise of sophisticated cyber threats necessitates a shift towards more comprehensive security measures. These include intrusion detection systems, advanced threat protection, and regular security audits.
